  1. Rosy Mound Beach

Rosy Mound Beach is a great, hidden spot to spend a beautiful summer day. With minimum crowds of people and the beautiful sand dunes and trails, this is the perfect spot to relax with a couple of friends or with family.

2. Grand Haven State Park

Grand Haven, Michigan ranked the Happiest Seaside Town in America by Coastal Living in January of 2017. Known for Butch’s Beach Burritos, Dairy Treat ice cream, Pronto Pups, Coast Guard, a beautiful downtown and last but not least the State Park which was recognized by Travel+Leisure as one of the Best Secret Beaches on Earth in 2012.

The State Park stretches along the coast of Lake Michigan and is a hot spot for tourists during all four seasons, especially summer. When visiting it is important to arrive early due to the limited parking area.

3. Buchanan Beach

Buchanan Beach is a great spot for a quiet, private and relaxing beach day. Since it isn’t very well known not a lot of people come there.

Also, Buchanan Beach is all natural landscaping. Other than a couple houses all you will see at this beach is sand, dunes and the lake.

As you walk down the short pathway to get to the beach there is lots of greenery surrounding the path. There is grass, trees and of course dune grass.

Buchanan Beach is a beautiful, private beach to hang out at in the summer.
