Anyone who wants to eat breakfast and see their favorite green ogre can sign up to have breakfast with the characters from, “Shrek the Musical” at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22 in the cafeteria.

Tickets for the breakfast are $5, and for an additional $3 people can get their picture taken with Shrek. The tickets are for sale at www.ghaps.org under the SeatYourself icon. Proceeds will go to offset the cost of the show.

“Shrek is a really expensive show, not only for the royalties because it’s really popular from the movies, but all of the specialty makeup, the puppets, the costumes,” director Rita McLary said. “Our idea is to keep the prices the way they’ve been for the last few years, and not raise ticket prices but do a couple fundraisers.”

McClary says the breakfast is a highlight for the cast.

“It will be fun,” McLary said. “It’s fun for the cast to do too. They get such fantastic feedback from the community that they just feel pumped and they’re excited to do it.”
