Grand Haven soccer scores overtime win against West Ottawa 3-2

What Happened: Visiting Holland West Ottawa held a 2-0 lead for the majority of the game Thursday night. If Buccaneer fans weren’t nervous when they were down at halftime, they were when they were down 2-1 with under a minute left. If it weren’t for a goal from sophomore Mason Harloff with 28 seconds remaining, the Bucs would’ve went home hanging their heads.

Play of the Game: Harloff squeezed in a goal between the goaltender with 28 seconds left in the game.

Key Player: Senior Isaac Braak scored two goals on the night. The first came with 10:40 left in the second half. Then four minutes into overtime Braak fired in a goal off an assist from his brother Derek to clinch the win.
