What Happened: Bracing bitter cold and harsh winds, the division two Bucs were defensively strong and held off 2014 division one state champs, Catholic Central on Friday, March 27.
Key Player: Senior Chase Pego not only aided in holding off Catholic Central but ran away with two tries, 10 out of the teams 12 points.
Who Scored: Senior Chase Pego scored the teams two tries. Following Pego’s second try, senior Luke Larkin kicked for the two extra points.
What’s Next: Buccaneer rugby travels to West Catholic on Thursday, April 16.
