As the tip off approached the stands began to fill with purple. On Friday, Feb. 3rd, the Bucs hosted the purple pride night against Caledonia. The purpose was to raise awareness and have a fundraiser for cancer. This also allow for the opportunity for fans to donate to the food drive.

Boys

The boys set the tone for the night with intense pressure. They finished off the game with a score of 87-66. Senior Ross Koella lead with 21 points while other senior Clay Landsman followed behind with 15 points and Drew Van Andel with 12 points.

Girls

Due to the Lady Bucs dominating defense they came out with a win against Caledonia 43-27. The bucs focused on playing together that night not only defensively, but offensively as well.

“We took them out of their game. They are a team that scores a lot of points in transition, so we really slowed them down,” coach Kowalczyk-Fulmer said.
