SAT and ACT test prep with Dr. Carlin

Adrienne Parcheta, Reporter

Dr. Scott B. Carlin, founder of Dr. Carlin’s Test Prep and College Consulting, will be hosting a total of four sessions at Grand Haven High School, the first will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13 starting at 7 a.m. 8 hours in total.

The purpose of the seminar is to help the junior and senior classes become more informed and prepared in regard to the SAT and ACT.

“Admissions from a college can come down to how they did on their SAT or their ACT,” Carlin said. “As well as scholarship money usually has a tie into not only GPA, but also ACT or SAT scores.”

Dr. Carlin is here to help students study the content that’s needed, but also help create individual study strategies that fit well with that particular student.

“Not only is practice time-critical,” Carlin said. “But practicing the right way is even more important.”

Carlin also offers online classes that include full test practice sessions as well as individual study sessions with students. If you have any questions, you can reach Dr. Carlin by his email or phone number.
