The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday the 8, at 7 a.m. Meetings will continue on the same time schedule but on Mondays for the rest of the school year.

G.R.E.E.N. Club’s first priority is helping out the environment. Juniors Margot Frendt, Sarah Mayer, and Lannie Fox run the club under the supervision of AP Psychology teacher Mr.Portenga.

“We saw a need to make our school greener and more eco-friendly,” Fox said. “I like it because it’s a passion I have to better the Earth.”

In the past, the club has been on numerous clean-up trips, and more are in store for the members for the 2021-2022 school year.

The club has almost 50 members and is looking for more.
