The psychedelic indie band has been making music since early 2012. The group is made up of Dave Bayley, Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer, and Drew MacFarlane.  Together, they create hit songs such as Gooey, Season 2 Episode 3 and Pork Soda.

Each one of the band’s songs is unique in its own way. In the song “Pork Soda” off of the album How to Be a Human Being, the main chorus is the lyrics ‘pineapples are in my head”.

In an interview, the lead singer Dave Bayley said he was inspired by the song when a homeless man said that phrase to him.

Another one of their hit songs is “Gooey” off of the album Zaba. This track is mysterious and calm in perfect Glass Animal fashion as it includes many synthesizers and leading tones built off of strange, new sounds.

The band is due for a new album since the latest album, How to Be a Human Being was released in 2016. Expect to hear new things from the Glass Animals soon as they continue to impress fans with their distinctive music.
