A classic, Mamma Mia, is coming to life in Grand Haven’s very own auditorium on November 22, 23 and 24. With the show coming up in less than a month, the cast is super excited and can’t wait to show off all of their hard work.

“It’s been a lot more work than the previous shows, but it’ll have a larger pay off I think,” troupe member Miriam DeYoung said.

With so many different elements in the show, everyone is anxious to see how it all fits together. Most don’t realize how much hard work and dedication really goes into putting on such a production.

“I’m most excited for the first run through of the show because that means that were super close,” assistant student director Sara Blease said. “That’s where everything comes together and it looks really awesome.”

The performance also features the chamber orchestra, which has already successfully practiced with the cast.

Shows include a 7 p.m. performance on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for students. The directors and cast are hoping for a large turnout so make sure to get there and see a show.

“We just can’t wait to see the audiences reaction,” DeYoung said. “We’re all very excited.”
