GSA, the gay-straight alliance club, is a club for members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies. They meet every Wednesday at 3 pm in Mrs. Walters room.

Everyone at GSA is so sweet and gives the club a warm hearted feeling. It is a great place to go to make friends.

“Seeing people be friends and be happy impacts me, [it’s] telling me I’m doing my job.” said junior Terri Carroll, the GSA leader.

GSA is a friendly environment for students who are struggling with their sexual identity. It’s a very laid back culture with kids who are accepting. Several club members express their want for more allies to join the club. The club isn’t just for the LGBTQ+ community, it’s for allies too

“The whole purpose of the club is to allow people to have a safe space to be themselves.” Carroll says.

For some people it’s hard to feel accepted at school. GSA is a great place to go if you’re looking for some support and love.
