National Honors Society Members created Valentines cards to be distributed to first responders in the community. “I liked it because it was a really cool way to give back to the community,” NHS member Margot Frendt said. “Plus, it was fun.”

The National Honors Society created Valentines Day Cards for first responders on Feb. 14.

The cards were made to be given to first responders around the community, such as firefighters, nurses, police officers and others.

The festivities took place in the cafeteria during academy, where various red, pink and glittery papers and stickers were strewn across the tables.

“I liked it because it was a really cool way to give back to the community,” NHS member Margot Frendt said. “Plus, it was fun.”

The cards will be distributed to the first responders by advisors and students.
