Every school year our high school puts on a play, this year it was Romeo and Juliet. This next upcoming school year, the musical will be “Singin’ in the Rain.”
Summer choreography is offered over the summer to help prepare students for the show. The dates are listed on the Grand Haven announcement page. This summer program is open to all who are interested and hoping to audition for “Singin’ in the Rain” next school year.
“The shows are always very nice to do because it is always an extremely welcoming and open-minded environment, you can just be yourself 100% of the time,” Junior Lark Eslick said. “Everyone will celebrate you for your weirdness or difference. You learn how to talk to all different kinds of people and be sympathetic to people who are in situations way different than your own. You learn how to be supportive and respectful of people no matter how good or talented they are at something.”
Be sure to check out the new musical “Singin’ in the Rain” and sign up for the summer choreography if you plan to audition.
