Bowling team trumps Hudsonville Ealges 1,187-1,017

What Happened: The Buccaneer bowling team faced off against the Hudsonville Eagles on Monday night. The boys and girls team both started off slow losing their first baker game. The team was able to win their baker match putting them ahead of the Eagles. But the Eagles closed out strong in the next couple of regular games to edge ahead of the Bucs 1,021-981. But the Bucs proved to be enough and came out on top to beat the Eagles 1,187-1,017

Key Moment: During the second regular game the Bucs were down in the frame until the boys were able to knock down 10 consecutive strikes to come back and beat the Eagles in that game.  

Key Player: Junior Jimmy Mitchell lead the Buccaneers in the second game with the score of 279.

Record: 4-2

Up Next: The Bucs travel to the Zeeland Invite on Saturday, Jan. 30.
