Ragnhild Mowinckel, representing Norway, won a silver and Italy’s Federica Brignone followed with a bronze.

Notable Other Results: Although Norway only took 2nd in the women’s giant slalom competition, they dominated the men’s alpine skiing events. Both gold medalist Aksel Lund Svindal and Kjetil Jansrud represented Norway taking the 1st and 2nd place in men’s alpine skiing. Canada finished strong battling the U.S. with a 2-1 victory.
