2018 Winter Olympics: Results from Feb. 22

American Results: It was a disappointing day for the USA. The lone bright spot was the men’s curling semi-finals. The Americans upset the Canadians with a 5-3 win. Canada always has had a great curling team, so this comes as a bit of a surprise for the United States. They’ll play in the gold medal game Saturday. However, the women fell short in ladies free skate, the men fell behind in speedskating short track relay and nordic combined was a mess as the U.S. team finished last.

Notable Worldwide Results: Austrian Anna Gasser won the gold in the women’s big air snowboard final.

What to Watch For: Friday is jam-packed day filled with multiple events. The men’s 4×7.5km biathlon, team alpine skiing, men’s big air snowboard and men’s and women’s giant slalom snowboard are the ones to watch.
