What Happened: The Bucs defeated the Muskegon Big Reds Tuesday night by a score of 59-51. Grand Haven was able to hold a comfortable lead for most of the game and was shooting very well from beyond the arc. The guys were also able to find many open looks down low to score as well, but the overall difference maker came at the line. The Big Reds were not able to connect on foul shots which costed them a good amount of points. For the Buccaneers on the other hand, there was great success at the charity stripe which very well contributed to the Bucs second win of the season.

Key Players:  Senior Malic Love was the leading scorer with 13 points, followed by sophomore Andrew Sinke who had 11, and Casey Constant chipped in 10 points.

They Said It: “I feel like we are fitting our piece well together and we still have improving to do,” senior guard Malic Love said. “We will continue to get better with the hard work our team is putting in.”

Up Next: The Bucs travel to Saint Joseph High school on Friday, Dec. 22.
