Senior photo submission deadline approaching

Grace Ostric, Editor in Chief

Senior pictures need to be submitted by Jan. 15 to make it into the yearbook. The end of the semester due date allows for the yearbook class and the Grand Haven Tribune to have all of the photos in time to organize and print them.

“It takes a fair amount of organization and planning to get all the photos collected,” yearbook advisor C.E. Sikkenga said.

The best image is a clear photo of the head and shoulders. They will need to be sent in the senior photo portal in a jpeg file in a 4-by-3 ratio. The portal is located at the bottom of the Grand Haven High School website.

“The photo you blow up on a poster isn’t necessarily the one you would choose to send to the yearbook,” Sikkenga said.

More important information includes that you should not submit more than one photo and make sure you put your correct name into the portal system. If you don’t end up submitting a picture, a school picture will be used.
