A dodgeball tournament will be held in the fieldhouse on Sunday, Jan. 10 from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Pay It Forward group is hosting the event to benefit the People Center in Spring Lake. Anyone in the community can participate if they are in middle school or older.

“The People Center in Spring Lake provides a food pantry and housing for those who have fallen on hard times,” co-director Alex Christiansen said.

It costs $10 per player and each team can have 6 to 8 players, but only can play 6 on the court at one time. The sign up deadline is Friday, Dec. 18. The cost includes a t-shirt for your team and donations to the People Center.

“People should sign up because this is a great way to get activity especially after the holiday season and the money is going to a great cause,” Christiansen said.
