Olivia Striegle
Senior Olivia Striegle received the Rotary student of the month award on Oct. 9 along with senior Jack Timmer. Striegle is ranked fourth in the senior class and Timmer is ranked third.
“I was pretty surprised and really excited. It’s a huge honor. I didn’t really realize like, what it meant until I got the letter,” Striegle said.
Striegle was excited to have this opportunity to be honored and said that she is going to use it to open new doors.
She’s put in a lot of hard work and effort to get to this point. She recounted a lot of late-night study nights but is overall proud of where her accomplishments have landed her, and she happily accepted this award.
“I think it’ll help so I think that the Rotary Club provided me like an opportunity to further my education,” Striegle said.
