After the long winter hibernation, shops like Skoops, Norm’s, and Pump House are open for business.

Skoops is a fast and efficient drive-thru ice cream shop, featuring the classic flurry with a topping of choice, soft serve and hard serve cones or dishes and sundaes. Aside from the plethora of sweets, Skoops offers corn dogs, pulled pork, cheeseburgers and more.

Norm’s ice cream doesn’t slack on the big servings. This local business also offers dairy-free options for those with allergies or dietary restrictions. Head over to Norm’s ice cream with your friends and your four-legged friends can get a scoop as well.

Pump House is located right downtown across the street from Kirby House. Specializing in frozen yogurt, this is the place to be in the summer. Pick your size cup, and choose froyo flavor with the help yourself machines. After you have your froyo, don’t be afraid to indulge in the many toppings Pump House has to offer. From sour candies to chocolates they have it all.

Be sure to get outside and enjoy the weather by grabbing a tasty treat from one of these local ice cream shops.
