Last night the Bucs took on Traverse City Central at home in a non conference game. The Bucs jumped up to a quick first quarter 19-6 lead. The team took a blow in the second quarter entering the half only up 26-20. Coming out in the second half, due to their tenacious defense they were able force turnovers which lead to several easy fast break scores, the Bucs went into the fourth quarter with a 47-27 lead. Grand Haven were able to sustain their lead the rest of the game and get dub.

Drew Hewitt, a Senior photojournalist on staff has been taking photos for the Blade for three years now. Drew is very involved at the high school. Other than Blade, Drew is also involved in FCA (Fellowship Of Christian Athletes) and the Green Club. On top of that he is active in sports in and outside of school. He enjoys golfing, playing basketball and spending time with friends and family on his free time. Hewitt hopes to attend college and continue to play basketball along with his studies.
