What Happened: Grand Haven scored two second half goals to pull away and beat Muskegon Mona Shores on Tuesday night. The win marked the third straight for the Buccaneers after defeating Jenison and Muskegon Reeths-Puffer last week. Sophomore Mason Harloff scored two goals on the night with assists coming from seniors Christian Dault and Isaac Braak. Goaltender Riley Taylor had four saves before leaving the game due to injury. Shores managed to tie the game early in the second   half but the Bucs were inevitably too much for the Sailors.

Player of the Game: Harloff came out strong with a goal early in the game and another in the second half.

They Said It: “Overall, it was a good game,” senior Connor Davidson said. “We started off fast with a goal but then the game died down a little bit. After [halftime] we picked it up and finished strong with a nice goal by Jettner.”

Highlight of the Night: The Buccaneer crowd exploded when junior Connor Jettner fired in a goal off of a Davidson assist t
o seal the game with 15 minutes to go.

On Deck: The Bucs host the Holland Dutch at 6:45 p.m. Thursday.
