Bucs varsity boys fall to Muskegon 52-48 in district finals
The boy's varsity basketball team lost in the last quarter to the Muskegon Big Reds in the district championship game on Friday. After leading in a close game the Bucs lost the district champions title after a hard fought game and a season of lots of effort.

Senior Zac Sinke sinks a 3-point shot with three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter falling just one point behind in the 45-44 point game.

Junior Mac Mahacek and varsity water boy Luke Berry respond to the 3-point shot made by Muskegon in the final quarter. Linwood Lee shot a three pointer in the fourth quarter allowing the Big Reds to lead 50-48.

But we had an answer for just about everything they threw at us,¨ Hewitt said.

The Bucs walk off the court after a close loss, with the Muskegon Big Reds following in celebration as district champions. ¨Even though we didn’t finish it the way that we wanted it, I feel we reestablished Grand Have as a major power in basketball this season,¨ junior Clay Landsman said.
