What happened: The Bucs volleyball team swept the Reeths Puffer in three straight sets, 25-17, 25-16 and 25-17, extending their postseason run to district semifinals. The match proved to be important for the squad to work out some weaknesses and build their confidence for their next contest.

They said it: “This win was a solid win that allowed us to gain momentum into district semis and hopefully finals,” senior Olivia Boeve said.

What’s next: The Bucs take on the Muskegon Big Reds on Wednesday night at Grand Rapids Northview High school at 5 p.m. in the semifinal round of District competition. The team hopes to take advantage of Muskegon’s weak spots in this match and find themselves easily in the finals.
