What Happened: The Bucs hockey team cruised to an easy 5-0 victory over lowly-touted Portage Central on Saturday night. Grand Haven scored a goal a piece for the first two periods, bringing them to the second intermission up 2-0. After that, the onslaught began, with senior Austin Fox and brother, sophomore Cooper Fox, putting in a combined three goals in the final frame, lifting the team to five goals as a unit on the night. Saturday night’s win at home will be a big one in terms of momentum, as the Bucs hope to keep their win streak alive with more upcoming home games in the near future.

They Said It: “We just [have to] keep pressing on the little things so we can ‘Be Better’ than we were yesterday,” head coach Keegan Ferris said.
