Senior tennis player and team captain Noah Bachmann, recently received his third consecutive all state title.

“I’ve been working so hard for so long for basically this moment,” Bachmann said. “It’s also very stressful because it all comes down to that and if you mess up it’s not good.”

Noah went 26-2 on the season with achieving all conference, all area, and all state titles as well as qualifying for the state tournament for the third consecutive year.

“Noah is one of our senior captains who is quick to make a joke, but also is extremely serious when it comes to the matches,” head coach Chris Wilton said. “He is a role model for the rest of the team as well as middle school and even elementary players that has met in the summer program.”

As Noah’s time at Grand Haven begins to wind down, the stand out tennis player hopes to take the sport beyond high school.

“He has great technique and footwork which will only get better has he competes at the next level,” Wilton said. “I expect his game to only grow as he plays with others more often that are very strong players from all over the world.”
