Boys hockey crushes Mid-Michigan in season opener

Grand Haven Boys Hockey sweeps away the competition on Friday, Nov. 19. Winning 6-1 the athletes played hard and deserved every goal. Junior Nicklas Braidwood, from Spring Lake, led with 3 goals. 

“It was a good game, it was a good start to the season. Our team played really well together,” Junior Dolan Smits said, “We’ve got a lot of young guys so it was good to get the team going because there’s lots of new talent coming in.”

At the end of the night, the Bucs kicked off the season with a bang. Winning against Mid-Michigan for their opener, and the team is ready for the next game.
