The Ski Team had a meet Tuesday, Feb. 15. The Girls team ranked 5th out of 13 teams and the Boys team got 4th.

From the Grand Haven-Black River- Montague team, LJ Nykamp, Claire Kendall and Kate Kendall all qualified as individuals for states. To determine state-qualifying individual racers, the top four racers from the top three teams are selected.

This year, States will take place at Boyne Mountain. 

“I think the girls did awesome. Everybody left it all out there. We practiced really hard for this and skied really, really well. I wished we all could’ve qualified, because we all deserved it, but super great that some qualified” Said Paige Peierson, first year coach for the team.
