Science Olympiad competed in the Allendale High School Science Olympiad Invitational on Saturday, February 26. The team placed second out of 18 teams, with 15 students receiving medals or ribbons in 19 of the 23 events. This was the first in-person competition since 2019.

The squad will compete at the GVSU Region 12 tournament on Saturday, March 19.

“This last tournament was good, it helped us see where we can improve going to regionals and states,” senior Aashray Mandala said. “There’s only room for improvement going forward because we see what we’re struggling on and we can apply that going forward.”
