January 16, 2017
Students who are interested in the Careerline Tech Center can sign up in student services for the meeting taking place on Tuesday, Jan. 17 in the LGI. The meeting is being held during first hour for people with last names A-L and the second meeting is during second hour for last names M-Z.
CLTC is for students who want to gain academic and career skills required to continue into their postsecondary experiences or to enter the workforce.
“These are students who are on-track for graduation and are in good academic standing to attend the Tech Center,” school counselor contact Steve Evink said.
There are 27 available programs that are being offered in the Tech Center. These include Agriscience, Arts and Communications, Business, Construction, Health Sciences, Human Services, Manufacturing, and Transportation.
The schedule for students who are selected for the program will be split in half, with three hours at the Tech Center, and three at the high school. Students will register for either the morning classes or the afternoon classes.
Evink said that all students that have interest in the programs can join.
