Student senate member Sophia Jaeger proposed a school mural and asked Irene Sipe if anyone could make the project happen. Sipe went to Megan Zelenka and put her in charge of a small team of three overseen by Sipe.

The Mural design is on Zelenka’s iPad and then projected onto the empty wall where she currently designing a ship in a bottle that has sunk into an underwater scene. 

“ I feel like we have a lot of plain stuff around here,” Zelenka said. “It will just add some more fun, I guess.” 

The design for the mural started in Nov. Real project work started in Dec. before winter break. Zelenka has been trying to attend to the mural every night since they started putting tape up.
