The drama club is meeting in the Performing Arts Center Friday, Jan. 23, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. for its first ever script writing meeting. 

“We wanted a new idea,” senior Kilian Jacobs, the Drama Club President said. “I guess to kind of explore, to have an idea for someone taking over next year”

Everyone is welcome to join in and get some guidance from Jacobs and Senior Sara Blease on the process of writing a script. If you are participating it’s recommended you bring along your chrome book so you can type your script.

Once there, participants will be divided into groups of 3-4  where they will brainstorm and write and then if their comfortable share their script with the group.

“The best way to learn something is to go out and do it,” Jacobs said. “Especially with script writing to have people just write their own little scripts. So it’s not just me talking at them they get to do it.”
