Pigeon Creek has opened most winter operations as of Monday, Jan. 20. 

These operations include the groomed cross country trails, rental equipment, sledding, the lodge and equestrian trail and Eastmanville Farm. For specific information regarding opening times and availability, visit the Pigeon Creek website at https://miottawa.org/Parks/pigeoncreek.htm

To get to Pigeon Creek From US 31, take Stanton Road and travel three miles east to the park entrance. From 120th Avenue, travel west on Stanton about a half-mile.

This park is filled with activities for people of varying skill levels and ages, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. Some specifics include sledding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, as well as a concession stand that sells hot chocolate. 

Ski lessons are also available for $8 but pre-registration is required through the website.
