Bucs care food pantry to host food drive
The Bucs Care food pantry will be hosting a ‘Give and Glow’ food drive the week of March 15 through March 19.
Bins will be located outside of each pod and outside the school. Near each bin will be lists of goods that are in high demand for the food pantry, but any and every non perishable and unopened donation that can be made is appreciated.
Members of the food pantry will be decorating the school in neon to capture the spirit of the “Give and Glow” idea.
The Bucs care food pantry is advised by counselor Angie Prieditis. They hope that the food drive will give students and staff an outlet to support their community.
“This is an opportunity to give and glow,” Prieditis said. “To feel good about giving to someone else without an award, trophy, or an A.”
