Khailey Rice is someone students always see and recognize. She’s a Student Advocate who works with Matthew Pohl in the cafeteria. She watches the exits and makes sure that safety is maintained.

What was your favorite school subject when you went to school?

Photography.

Who’s your favorite artist?

Morgan Wallen.

If you could do anything on your weekend, what would it be?

Hanging out with my friends and family.

Favorite memory from the building?

Making interactions with students.

What are some positive changes that you’ve noticed in recent years?

The creation or reintroduction of TEAM GH.

What is your favorite school event?

Homecoming week or the pep assemblies.

If you could only bring three things to a deserted island, what would it be?

My husband, my Stanley and my glasses.

Favorite family memories?

All of my family, like my aunts and cousins live in Grand Haven, so every Tuesday we do family night. We’ve done it for the past four years.

If you won a million dollars, what’s the first thing you think you’d buy?

A brand new vehicle, a 2023 Jeep Wrangler.

What concerts have you been to?

My first concert was in NSYNC, I was four years old. My most recent concert was Kenny Chesney.

What is your favorite Grand Haven activity?

Coast Guard in the summer and Winter Fest in the winter because it falls during my birthday.

Where do you go out to eat on a typical Friday night? 

Either Tip a Few or Turks.

What’s a small business that you love to support?

Glik’s, I work there part time.

What’s an item on your bucket list?

I would love to scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef.

What is something no one would expect you to have done?

I swam with the dolphin from the movie Dolphin Tale.
