Cleaning one of the storage rooms yielded much more than expected. Recently, athletic director Scott Robertson unearthed vintage sports uniforms.

“What I found was a lot of trash and a lot of really old uniforms that were never gonna be worn again,” Robertson said. “So I took the trash out and I asked around, ‘What could we do with old uniforms that no one will ever want?'”

Robertson decided to sell the uniforms to the students. From baseball pants and cheerleading skirts to wrestling singlets to basketball jerseys, almost every sport is represented.

Everything cost $2, but shorts are $1.

“The interesting thing is, some if it you can kind of guesstimate the era,” Robertson said. “Some of it goes back as far as the early 70s. A lot of it’s from the 80s and some of it’s from the 90s.”

The sale takes place in the storage room at the end of the hallway north of the field house. The sale will continue until Nov. 20 during all lunches.

“I hope people come on out,” Robertson said. “There’s some great potential Christmas presents here for dirt cheap.”
