Bucs hockey to host Jenison on Bucs Pride Night

WHAT: The Boys Hockey team takes on a strong Jenison team, in a pivotal conference game. Grand Haven is looking to repeat its Dec. 2 performance– a 7-2 road victory.  To achieve the sweep, the Bucs are looking to use a fast and furious brand of hockey. It is also a special night for the team, Bucs Pride night is tonight and the donations they receive will be given to the Johnson Cancer Center.

WHEN: Tonight, Friday Jan. 13 at the Lakeshore Sports Centre at 7:30

KEY PLAYERS: Junior Finn Bylsma has been a lockdown goalie, allowing around 2.5 goals a game. Bylsma will have to play his best to stop the Wildcats’ high-powered scoring attack.

THEY SAID IT:  “The best way I can get the team ready as a leader is to set the ‘practice how you play’ example” said senior Alex Weykamp.
