Bucs take flight out of East Kentwood Falcons

What: After a slow start, the Bucs were able to come together and beat the East Kentwood Falcons. Sharp shooting and aggressive play propelled the team to victory. The score at the end of the first quarter was 17-3, East Kentwood. Shots weren’t falling and it looked like it was going to be a slow night for Grand Haven. Once that second quarter hit, it was a whole new story. The Bucs outscored the Falcons 21-11 in the second quarter to cut the deficit to four. Both teams were feeling it in the third quarter, it was a back and forth ball game tied up at 38 heading into the fourth where the Bucs took control of the contest and coasted into a 58-49 victory.

Key Players: Malic Love had a stellar performance, scoring 21 points. Casey Constant was second in scoring on the team scoring 19.

They said it: “[This win is] pretty big,” Senior Kellum Bridgeforth said. “It shows that we can beat anyone in our conference,” Bridgeforth said.
