On Saturday Feb. 10 the windows on Washington were filled with superhero ‘mannequins’. The mannequins are either family members, employees, or volunteers that attract so many families downtown in the heart of winter. Approximately 20 stores downtown were littered with people, Sharon Behm, co-owner of Borr’s shoes and chair of Frozen In Time sheds light on the event. “I came up with the idea seven years ago,” Behm said. “We were looking for an event to bring people downtown Grand Haven in the middle of February to be able to showcase our heated streets and sidewalks.”
