The annual belly flop contest was held during sixth hour on Tuesday. Eighteen student floppers and a few staff members participated in the event as seniors were let out early to spectate.

Junior and past champion of the contest Thomas MacDonald enjoys the contest and participated this year as well.

“The belly flop contest is always super fun,” MacDonald said. “It’s always a super cool group of adventurous people.”

Each flopper got two chances to impress the crowd and make a splash in the competition. The staff got only one chance to flop.
