Sophomore Gavin Hubner is a yo-yoist. And he’s pretty good at it, so good as a matter of fact that he has won national awards. 

Hubner now hopes to reach out to his fellow classmates by attempting to teach other students to use the yo-yo, as well as new tricks. 

He plans to hold meetings starting on Nov. 11, and would like to have meetings every Monday during the winter months for about 45 minutes each time. 

“I thought it would be fun to give students at the school specifically, a little insight into what yo-yoing is,” Hubner said. 

He is looking forward to creating a group of people who share his enthusiasm.
