Olive Garden is one of the top places to take your valentine’s date out for dinner.

  1. The Paisley Pig Gastropub

Grade: B-

The Paisley Pig Gastropub is a nice cozy restaurant with lots of different options to eat and is located right in Grand Haven. Having a variety of food allows people to find something to eat on their large menu. The wait isn’t too bad, but the service could be better. Waiters and waitresses don’t check up a ton on their customers and the lighting is kind of dark.

  1. Snug Harbor

Grade: B

Snug Harbor is a nice local restaurant on the channel in downtown Grand Haven. It has beautiful views of the channel and great service. It’s a nice place to dine with your date on Valentine’s Day. It’s a bit pricey and entering and exiting isn’t that great though. It’s a steep flight of stairs to get you in and out of the restaurant. On the other hand, the food is well prepared and is delicious.

  1. Logan’s Roadhouse

Grade: B+

Logan’s Roadhouse can have a long wait, but if you make a reservation, you should be fine with getting a table. The service is good and they make sure your food is just right for you. Being located in Norton Shores, the drive isn’t a long one. The food is great and there’s variety in it. It feels cozy in there, but at times it can get loud.

  1. Olive Garden

Grade: A-

Olive Garden is one of my local favorites in Norton Shores. It’s not a far drive and the food is delicious. The service is great and they want to make sure your food is just how you like it. The employees can answer any of your questions that you may have. It’s nice eating there, but most of the time there’s a wait depending on the time you get to the restaurant. If you don’t feel like waiting for a table, I would recommend calling to get take-out.

  1. Hearthstone Bistro

Grade: A

Hearthstone Bistro may be more on the pricey side, but the food is fantastic along with the service. The employees really take care of their customers and make sure everything is up to their expectations. With it being located in northern Muskegon, it’s a bit of a drive. If you call ahead of time to make a reservation, then you shouldn’t have a problem with getting a table for you and your date. If you’d rather not eat in, then you can easily call and place a take-out order too.
