World food night
September 24, 2014
This years homecoming theme is world tours. Cultural cuisines will continue the theme on Tuesday Sept. 30. The high school is hosting a world food night to highlight dishes from all around the world.
Dishes will need to be pre-cut into individual servings and do not have to be made for a certain number of people, however much you bring is acceptable.
“Teachers will be judging based on best food, best dish, best presentation, lots of things like that,” spanish teacher Kirsten Montroy said.
Anybody is welcome to come and taste the food. Tickets will be sold in order to try the food in increments of four tickets for $1. Every food dish costs one ticket.
“Just grab a recipe online or go see Mr. Lawrence, myself, or any world language teacher for help. It’s gonna be fun,” Montroy said.
