What: The Buccaneers fell to Forest Hills Central last night, 60-54 in what was the teams final regular season game. Grand Haven was able to finish off the regular season with a 14-7 record. Despite the loss, the Bucs were able to compete with a top tier, Red Ranger squad that was looking to win their 17th straight game. In the first half, Grand Haven drained seven three pointers and hung with Forest Hills Central for the whole game up until about the three minute mark. The Red Rangers ended up pulling away with a 6 point victory in what was a very thrilling contest. Now, unfortunately the guys did fall short of a goal they’ve had all season; a conference championship, but that isn’t dampening their spirits for what is to come. On Wednesday, March 7, the team has the District semi-finals.

They said it: “I think that game will give us a boost for our game on Wednesday,” Junior guard Bryce Taylor said.

Up Next: The Bucs will be playing in the District semi-finals on March 7 at Reeths-Puffer high school  against the winner of Mona Shores vs Reeths-Puffer.
