Grand Haven’s band program will be giving its fresh take on some beloved pieces. The band will be featuring the Percussion Ensemble, the Wind Ensemble, the Brass Quintet, and the Buccaneer Big Band.

The GHHS Choirs will be performing a number of classics, as well as some lesser-known holiday tunes. Still, the directors chose fresh and exciting pieces that will definitely entertain. The choirs feature a few groups: the Advanced Women’s Ensemble, the Chamber Choir and the Choral Ensemble, which also performs in two separate ensembles: Sweet Harmony, and Sweet-Her Harmony.

Grand Haven’s orchestral program will be serving an impressive lineup, with creative spins. The orchestra will be featuring the Cello Ensemble, GOTAK, Chamber Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra.

The grand finale-

At the end of the concert, the Symphonic Orchestra and the Combined Choirs will come together and perform A Christmas Festival. This will be the cherry on top to an already impressive performance.

If you were able to snatch some tickets up before they sold out, then you’ll be able to get an opportunity to listen to the satisfying, as always, performance of our Grand Haven music department’s take on some holiday classics, whether that be cut and dry traditional pieces, or songs delivered with a twist. This is an event you won’t want to miss, if you can help it.
