Class of 2021 has one last hoorah ending the school year with senior assassin
Beginning Wednesday, May 12, seniors who paid an entrance fee of $5 are able to participate in this year’s senior assassin ran by senior Maggie Walsh. The game is not associated with Grand Haven High School in any way.
Every participating senior is given a target to ‘assassinate’ with a water gun. Participants must have photo or video evidence of them taking their target out of the game.
“Its been going around social media a lot and I thought it would be a really fun idea,” Walsh said.
Seniors are not allowed to assassinate others on school property between 7:30 a.m. – 2:50 p.m., places of worship or those who are clocked in at work. Anywhere else is fair game including the inside people’s houses only if given permission from a member of the household.
A cash prize will be given to first, second and third place winners as well as to the player who takes out the most targets in the game.
“With the crazy senior year, I thought it would be a really great way to have fun to end our senior year,” Walsh said.
