Monday, Sept. 26 student senators arranged a movie night for homecoming week. The movie they presented, Monsters Inc, was meant to be exciting for the students participating as well as match the theme of movie mania. Students had to bring their current school ID and $3 in order to join a night of fun.

“I think it’s a nice way for everyone to get together and do something that’s more chill,” Senior Ava Buitenhuis said. “Because otherwise this week you have powder puff stuff, but not everyone wants to do powder puff or can. But I think watching a movie everyone can get together and they can do it cause it’s easy.”

The projector had fallen over twice at the beginning of the movie but students were still able to enjoy the film. It was a great way to get more students to participate and get excited for homecoming week.

“The movie is great,” sophomore Myia Woodworth said. “I really enjoyed the free popcorn.”
