Boys XC places 21st at State finals

What Happened: The boys cross country team took 21st place in states last weekend.

 

What It Means: The boys cross country team has closed out there season with first place in the falcon invite and regional finals. 

 

Key Moment: The Bucs did not run their absolute best in the state meet but they look back on this season and are confident that it was one of the fastest teams in school history if not the fastest

 

Three Stars:

 

  • First Star:  Senior Dominic Weatherwax came in with a strong first on the team

 

  • Second and Third Stars:  Senior Andrew Ireland, and Junior Cole Rowden

 

They Said it:  “W had a really good season, we did really good in jamborees and some of the bigger meets like portage and regionals” says senior Aidan Martin

 

What’s next: The seniors graduate from the program and the team is set for future success with runners like freshman Jon Tysman, freshman Ben Pease, sophomore Cole Rowden and sophomore Christian Colvin and junior Jared Franke.
