A new year for DoRAK is starting up. Meetings are every other week at seven a.m. in Mr. Williams classroom. The next meeting is Wednesday, Oct. 6.

“DoRAK stands for doing random acts of kindness, and it was started a few years ago by a group of students who wanted to spread random acts of kindness,” junior Kyla Streng said.

The club is open to anyone who wants to make a difference in their community and or school.

“This year, we would love to have any new members, and we just want to continue all the projects that we have done but also bring in new ideas,” Streng said. “That’s why we would love new people, with fresh ideas to keep us going”

For more information go to GHHS DoRAK Instagram page as well as email Streng if you have questions.

“We just want to give a reminder that kindness goes a long way,” Streng said. To make our peers feel appreciated and try to help the atmosphere of our school be more kind. But also be more open, friendly, and generous, compassionate in all those things. Just chipping away to make school a better place for everyone. One little act of kindness at a time.”
