Calling All Colors came up with many ways to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, which started on Sept. 15 and ends on Oct. 15.

“What I’m most excited about is helping out with the Hispanic family night,” teacher Hailey Barton said. “We’ve never been asked to do it and we’ve never offered either on the flip side, so I’m really excited that we’re going to get more involved with that.”

The club also talked about creating a display in the library to highlight Hispanic authors and stories, as well as decorating a bulletin board in the hallway. They plan to continue to highlight different cultures for their respective celebratory months.

“We’ve never actually done [the bulletin board] so the fact that we’re doing something is really exciting,” senior Nat Wilson said. “I’m just hoping that it goes well.”
